Our Approach

We believe that the best way to stop or slow down the administration's violations of the Constitution is to hold the members of Congress accountable for not acting to do this and that the best way to do this is with a non-partisan, grass-roots effort led by Veterans. While all concerned citizens are welcome to join this effort, it is led by Veterans since they also swore an oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic” and thus can hold the members of Congress accountable for not honoring their oaths.

To get members of Congress to uphold their oath to defend the Constitution, we believe we must:

• Raise veterans’ and other concerned citizens' voices to give lawmakers a public opportunity to respond
• Raise concerns about lawmakers’ re-electability if they fail to act
• Raise the cost of fundraising for lawmakers who are derelict in their duties

Therefore we plan to:

1. Recruit and build coalitions to demonstrate a large member base in each district and state who will hold lawmakers accountable in fundraising and in the next election
2. Provide veterans, military families, and other supporters with call scripts, letters to the editor, social media content, and other materials to deliver a coordinated message
3. Hold events to share our concerns with lawmakers and the public
4. Publish voter guides on a state-by-state to show which candidates have met the moment based on specific actions they have taken or refused to take
